History
Milestone, C19, on new road from Aberystwyth laid out in 1812 to join old road from Llangurig 2.5km E of Ponterwyd at junction with B4343.
Exterior
Milestone, whitewashed stone with curved top inscribed 'Aberystwth 11 miles', the town name in capitals following curve, 'Miles' in lower case under numeral. Similar lettering on 12 and 14 mile stones.
Reason for designation
Included for transport historical interest as marking early turnpike route.
