Location
Approximately 1km SE of Howey village, reached by track on the N side of a minor road between Crossway and Betws Diserth.
History
An early C18 house shown on the 1838 Tithe map.
Exterior
A 2-storey 5-bay house of rubble stone, hipped slate roof on projecting eaves, and a large square stone end stack to the L and rectangular stone stack to the R. Openings in the lower storey have wooden lintels. The central entrance has a boarded door with original strap hinges. Windows are renewed cross windows in the lower storey, renewed 2-light windows in the upper storey. A lean-to has been added to the L end wall.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special architectural interest as a well-preserved C18 house of definite character.
