In the barn, the wagon bay entrance R of centre is carried above the eaves but the doors are missing. A wide opening for a vehicle has been made on the L side. In the rear elevation the wagon bay has been infilled with framing, incorporating a boarded door. The cow house has a wide central full-height opening, loft opening under raked half dormers, and a small opening L of centre. Behind is a modern shed.
Interior
The 5-bay barn retains 4 cruck trusses, mostly retaining tie and collar beams, with box-framed ends. The 5-bay cow house has tie-beam trusses with either king post and raking struts, or raking struts.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special architectural interest as a rare well-preserved cruck-framed farm building with added cow house in a later timber-framed tradition.
