Location
Towards the E end of the street; stepped up from property to left; detached to right. Iron railed forecourt.
History
Early C19; late Georgian.
Exterior
Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-window coursed local rubble front; slate roof (slightly undulating) with rubble end chimney stacks. l2-pane sash windows with cambered voussoir lintels; recessed 6-panel door with flanking panelling and unusually traceried broad overlight. Similar windows to right side and continuous cross range with 6-panel door with Gothic overlight. Similar windows to the rear with red brick voussoirs. Deeply asymmetrical gable end to cross range; modern windows in blocked doorway.
The front of the house has narrow forecourt with contemporary spearhead, iron railings and gates with oval lockplate - similar design to the churchyard railings. Pendre is indeed said to have once been the Vicarage. Stone gate piers to right flank yard entry and rubble boundary continues beyond to the corner and returns back along the side lane.
Interior
The interior retains many late Georgian features including 6-panel doors, panelled shutters, Regency architraves with bosses and 'S' shaped tread ends to the staircase with turned newel.
