Location
Situated on W side of road just below and to SW of the chapel burial ground.
History
Earlier to mid C19 house, possibly built as manse to Capel Soar.
Exterior
House, rubble stone with slate roof and painted rendered end stacks. Two storeys, three bays with wide 12-pane sashes above and 16-pane sashes below each side of centre door under timber bracketed small hood. Flush-panelled 6-panel door. Openings have purple sandstone voussoirs, slate sills. Basement door to left. Rendered left end wall, white painted stone right end wall with added outbuilding with steep slate monopitch roof, white-painted rubble front with large double doors.
Rear of house has two small horizontal windows under eaves.
Reason for designation
Included for its special architectural interest as a little altered house in late Georgian style, of group value with Capel Soar.
