Fronting the street in a block of buildings.
History
Built in the mid C19 and first shown on the 1861 town plan.
Exterior
A 2-storey house of scribed render painted white, and slate roof. It has a fielded-panel door under a bracketed lean-to canopy. To its R is a 16-pane hornless sash window with 12-pane hornless sash window above it in the upper storey. On the L side, and brought forward under a slightly lower roof, are two 12-pane horned sash windows inserted in a former wide opening, probably for a cart house, under a timber lintel. Above it is a horizontal-sliding 12-pane sash window.
Reason for designation
Listed for its special interest as a small house retaining C19 character that contributes to the historical integrity of Rosemary Lane.
