Location
On Monmouth's principal commercial street which leads out of the town square going south-west to Monnow Bridge.
History
Early C19 front on a possibly earlier structure, shop-front added in late C19.
Exterior
Rendered and painted front with a Welsh slate roof. Double depth plan. Three storeys, two windows. The ground floor has a late C19 shopfront with a slim stall-riser, narrow pilasters, overhanging cornice on brackets, window with five vertical panes separated by slim timber mullions. The first floor has 6 over 6 pane sashes, the second floor has 3 over 6. Plain roof with quite a steep pitch. Rear elevation not seen.

Included for its special architectural interest as part of a varied group of historic buildings in the Monmouth town centre.
