At the entrance to Newton Hall about 1500m to the north-east of the town accessed off the main road to Ross.
History
Probably late C18.
Exterior
Wrought iron railings on dwarf stone wall. Three panels of spike railings with open work piers, a shorter fourth bay returns to the house. Double gates swept down in the centre with dogbars. Fine overthrow with lampbracket and decorative scrolls.
Reason for designation
Included as fine quality late C18 ironwork and for its group value with Newton Hall.
