History
Small C19 roadside cottage with gable end to road in the opportunistic manner of a smallholders' or squatters' dwelling.
Exterior
Small house, white painted roughcast with slate close-eaved roof and rendered end stacks. Two storeys, double-fronted with horned sash windows of 6 panes, the centre pane narrow. Stone sills. Centre gabled porch, painted brick with bargeboards and half-glazed door. Lean-to on right end with a metal window to front.
Reason for designation
Included for its special interest as a small rural dwelling which has retained its character.
