To the SE of the church facing the main road through Bettisfield.
History
Built with the church in 1874 by G.E. Street, architect of London.
Exterior
A Gothic Revival lych gate of ashlar walls with tile-hung gables and a steep tile roof with cresting, and with lower outer lean-to roofs. The entrance has roll-moulded jambs and a wooden pointed arch with 2 orders of ovolo moulding. An iron gate is on the outer side. Side walls have narrow unglazed lights.
Inside are pointed-arch recesses to the side walls, with wooden benches.
Reason for designation
Listed as a fine Gothic Revival lych gate and an integral component of the parish church.
