History
Early C19, with added bay to L, later C19; divided into 2 properties, later C20.
Exterior
Two storey 5-window house plus added bay to L (S). Grey coursed stone, slate roof, 3 stone chimneys. Earlier part has 3 gabled dormers (modern 9-pane glazing). Five 12-pane sashes to first floor (voussoir heads).
Central doorway has pedimented doorcase, overlight with intersecting tracery, 6-panelled door. Two 12-pane sash windows to each side. Added bay (L) has large gabled dormer; single window to first floor, on ground floor to L doorway with cambered head, to R, large window with cambered head.
Reason for designation
Penrally House listed for good Regency front, attached house for group value.
