Location
Lies 100m south of A44, 0.5km south-east of New Radnor.
History
Formerly the terminus station on the Kington to New Radnor branch of the Kington and Eardisley Railway, opened September 25th 1875.
Exterior
Single-storey, coursed rock-faced rubble blocks, high plinth, lean-to at east end housing lavatory. Slate roof with ridge cresting, decorative pierced bargeboards and eaves boards, brick end stack. Platform side has tall central entry with framed, plank double doors. Flanking tall, cross-pattern windows deep-set with stone cills and cambered heads. Two similar windows to rear. Boarded door under cambered head to lean-to section.
Interior
Two rooms; waiting-room with hooped cast-iron fire-place, boarded partition to booking office with 'ticket window'.
