History
Lychgate of 1833 by George Clinton of Aberystwyth rebuilt at the same time as the church. There was an 'antique-looking gateway' to the churchyard in 1811.
Exterior
Lychgate, rubble stone with slated roofs and coped shouldered gables. Gabled centre with low lean-to on each side (blank with raised plinth to front, C20 renewed doors on back), also with coping to end walls. Centre has a segmental-pointed arch and angle buttresses, to both front and rear. Added 1914-18 war-memorial plaque in E front apex. Rafter roof within, slate flag floor and double wrought-rion gates with spearhead rails and dog-bars, top rails curve up to meeting.
Reason for designation
An earlier C19 lychgate of group value with the church.
