The following provides a general description of the Scheduled Monument. The monument comprises the remains of an enclosed settlement of multiple hut circles, which probably dates from the first millennium BC. Three round huts, with diameters of 15.5m, 4m and 2.5m, together with lengths of enclosure walls are situated on a rocky knoll, which is situated within a caravan park. The huts are visible as circular hollows with traces of walling of small stones beneath the turf. The monument is of national importance for its potential to enhance our knowledge of prehistoric settlement. It retains significant archaeological potential, with a strong probability of the presence of associated archaeological features and deposits. The structures themselves may be expected to contain archaeological information concerning chronology and building techniques. The scheduled area comprises the remains described and areas around them within which related evidence may be expected to survive.
