The following provides a general description of the Scheduled Monument.
A building stone incised with a single capital letter M. It is built into the outside of the S wall of Llanaelhaearn churchyard. Possibly of 5th to 7th century date.
The monument is of national importance for its potential to enhance our knowledge of the early medieval period.
The scheduled area comprises the remains described and areas around them within which related evidence may be expected to survive.
